LOOK UP
Scripture Reading - Luke 21:27-28
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. KJV
The term “Look Up” means to keep your eyes upon the Lord because our help is
inside of His Grace, His Mercy and His Love. Since we know that Jesus is high
and lifted up we must keep our head up to see Him.
“Look Up” also means to look up the scriptures concerning your life. We have
to learn about the history of Jesus on earth to know how to live His Story while
on the earth. Psalm 119:105 states “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light
unto my path." This verse reminds us that looking at God’s Word is the only way
we can see clearly.
Another meaning for “Look Up” is prayer unto our Heavenly Father. Prayer can be beautiful when we openly
and honestly approach God in intimacy. Psalm 5:3 states "My voice
shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer
unto thee, and will look up."
Therefore remember to Look Up to Heaven for hope of a bright future. Look Up
the Light of God’s Word to see life more clearly and Look Up God’s Heart by
sincerely praying to the Father in the Wonderful Name of Jesus. Amen!
